2024-10-23

Ceramic table lamps are loved by many people in daily life because of their unique beauty and artistic value. In order to maintain their good use condition and extend their service life, they need to be properly maintained. Here are some suggestions on the maintenance of ceramic table lamps:

1. Safe use

Regular inspection: Regularly check the lines and sockets of the table lamp to ensure that there is no damage or aging, and avoid safety accidents caused by short circuits.

Correct plugging: Avoid pressing the socket of the table lamp behind the furniture for a long time to prevent the interface from deforming and affecting use. At the same time, ensure that the plug is firm to avoid poor contact causing the bulb to flicker or damage.

2. Cleaning and maintenance

Choose appropriate cleaning tools: When cleaning ceramic table lamps, use a soft cloth or soft sponge to wipe, and avoid using cloth or other items with too high hardness to force decontamination to avoid scratching the glaze of the porcelain.

Treatment for different stains: For general dust and stains, you can wipe it gently with a dry cloth. If the stain is stubborn, you can use a wrung wet cloth (try to wring the cloth to 90% dry) or a wet cloth containing an appropriate amount of detergent to wipe it, but make sure that there is no liquid left on the lamp after wiping to avoid damage to the ceramic.

Cleaning of the lampshade: The lampshade of the ceramic table lamp also needs to be cleaned regularly. Choose the appropriate cleaning method according to the material and shape of the lampshade. For example, for a cloth lampshade, you can use a small vacuum cleaner to suck the dust on the surface, and then wipe it with a soft cloth; for a resin lampshade, you can use a special duster to clean it and spray it with anti-static liquid to prevent static electricity from adsorbing dust.

3. Move and store

Correct movement: When moving a ceramic table lamp, you should hold the bottom and main part of the lamp with both hands to avoid tilting or falling the lamp by carrying it with one hand. Especially for lamps with ceramic carvings, you should be careful to place them gently to avoid damaging the vulnerable parts.

Proper storage: If the ceramic table lamp is not needed temporarily, it should be stored in a dry and ventilated place to avoid long-term exposure to humidity or high temperature environments that may damage the porcelain.

4. Precautions

Avoid collision with hard objects: In daily life, avoid collision or friction between hard objects and ceramic table lamps to avoid scratching or damaging the surface of the porcelain.

Regular maintenance: Regular maintenance and care of ceramic table lamps can timely detect and deal with potential problems and extend their service life.
